vou reparar isso, meu velho. obrigado quanto ao toque sobre as luzes.

acontece também que, de vez em quando, depois de a conexão ficar caindo e eu tentando de novo, a conexão 3g desaparece da lista de opções do netwprk-manager e só reiniciando para o dispositivo ser reconhecido novamente.

ah, vou adicionar um detalhe: quando isso acontece,como eu disse, o dispositivo nao mais é reconhecido, entao eu coloco pra desligar ou reiniciar, mas só desliga ou reinicia mesmo apertando o "botão de força" do laptop.... o sistema sai do "X" e fica no terminal com uma mensagem de erro, como se estivesse listando alguns processos com problemas, algo ligado ao avahi-daemon....

continuo aqui na busca de uma solução, desta vez, mais subsidiado.

O modem agora simplesmente não quer pegar. Percebi que os seguintes logs de erro estão sendo gerados:

Pelo wvdial ele reconhece o modem, porém dá uma mensagem de erro:

Prezados "moderas", não quero violar regra alguma do forum, porém, como faço aqui se meu problema continua insanado?

Usuario de linux, sempre busquei auxílio aqui neste forum para eventuais dificuldades no sistema, na maioria das vezes tendo sucesso graças à sua comunidade prestativa, porém acho que o tanto de mensagens que diariamente chega é superior ao tanto que o pessoal pode ler às vezes...

Então vcs não acham que seria salutar fazer uma "triagem" do que seria ou não um up "abusivo"?

só postando o "resolvido".... dps de umas atualizacoes automaticas do sistema, incluindo o network-manager entre os pacotes, voltou a fucnionar tudo ok.
