Instalacão de JRE via Synaptic

Elas vão aparecer desmarcadas, depois você marca e pronto. Pela sua sources.list deveria ter a opção do Java, aparece como "j2re". E não com o nome Java.

Poxa, essas opções já deveriam vir por default para serem "vistas" no UBUNTU.
Aonde é que iríamos imaginar que existe tal repositório (java) se nem eles divulgam....
O Universe e o Multiverse deveriam vir PELO MENOS listados no repositório, com a opção de a gente poder habilitá-los ou não. Ao menos saberíamos que ele existe !

Cara que engraçado, usei seu repositório e funcionou e olha que o meu dapper é o fligth4, dá uma olhada não vi nada de diferente do meu pro seu, olha o meu:

Resolvi meu problema com o Home Banking do BB instalando o java da sun.

Ao LaSSarD e ao mjunior meu muito obrigado.

Apenas uma dica... quem estiver instalando e efetuando as configurações não vai esquecer uma janela do navegador aberta num dos 4 desktops... tem que fechar todas pras alterações poderem funcionar... (Sim, eu deixei uma aberta e só vi depois de uns minutos procurando o problema).
