Kubuntu 9.10, sem audio.

Preciso de ajuda com o Kubuntu-Ubuntu 9.10.

Instalei o Ubuntu e posteriormente o Kubuntu-desktop e actualizei o sistema. Mas o audio não funciona, já configurei o Kmix (kubuntu) e o gnome-alsa mix e nada!
Na verdade, eu o audio do sistema está ok, mas o dos players de música e vídeo não funciona, o mesmo ocorre quando vejo vídeos da net.

Alguém, pode me ajudar?

Mas não resolveu!
Eu não tenho certeza se fiz certo!

Eu não sei localizar a placa de som no lsmod para poder alterar o arquivo blacklist.conf ou alsa-base.conf.

Resolvi o problema com uma nova instalação do Kubuntu
