Assunto: problema ata3.01 e res 51/84. PC só inicializa em "recoevery mode". Congelamento. Travamento
Bom dia

Meu PC está apresentando um defeito que faz demorar a inicialização e que segue ao final o "log".

Este problema fez com que ontem, 05/09/09, o pc ficasse "travado" o dia todo... ele só voltou a inicializar quando optei pela inicialização em "recovery mode" do meu Linux... isso faz com que funcione, mas ainda assim demora na inicialização e o pc está "congelando" e algumas vezes até travando...

Para ter-se uma ideia, ontem eu dei o comando de "desligar" e apareceu um erro +/- indicando "error i/o" ou coisa parecida e daí em diante nada o fazia religar. Depois disso o pc ficou mais de 35 minutos tentando inicializar e só aparecia uma sequencia igual ao log que postei abaixo, onde a única coisa que aumentava era o "número do bloco" que estava sendo lido, aquele entre os colchetes (acho que era o nº do bloco, mas não tenho certeza).

Os comandos do Linux tais como fsck e e2fsck não adiantaram nada... tive que usar um live-cd para salvar meus arquivos mais importantes e evitar um mal maior, mas quando tive a ideia de usar o "recovery mode" demorou demais, mas inicializou, só que o pc ficou meio lento, como se tivesse ainda tentando resolver este conflito de algum modo silencioso e isso interfere no uso dos demais aplicativos... não raras vezes o led do processador fica aceso por muito tempo sem que eu tenha mandado fazer qualquer coisa (penso que isso indica que o conflito abaixo descrito nos logs ainda está ocorrendo). Neste momento em que escrevo aproveitei para olhar o visualizador de logs do sistema e vi que as mesmas msg que aparecem na inicialização e que fazem o pc travar naquela tela estão sendo exibidas, mas o pc está funcionando agora... não sei, então, o que pode ser...

Por que estas mensagens do kernel.log, do auth.log e do message.log fazem o pc travar na inicialização, mas só o fazem congelar os aplicativos e ficar lento depois que inicializa?

Alguns colegas dizem que o erro ata3.01 diz respeito a um conflito entre o DVD-Recorder e o resto da máquina. Se for isso:

1. É possível resolver por configuração de software?

2. Será necessário substituir o gravador de dvd (que é um samsung, como o HD, ou seja, da mesma marca)?

3. Não sei atualizar a BIOS ou qualquer outro tipo de operação com meu Ubuntu9.04 e não tenho windows instalado para fazer isso de outro modo. Há necessidade de tal atualização?

Pra saber se atualizar a bios resolve, vá até o site do fabricante e veja se o que eles modificaram está relacionado ao teu problema. Mas se tudo funcionava antes e parou de funcionar, a probabilidade de uma atualização da bios resolver o problema é bem pequena. Normalmente é disponibilizado um software que roda em DOS.

Minha sugestão é primeiro descobrir se o problema é de hardware, mais especificamente o drive de DVD. Pra isso, desconecta ele e testa se o computador liga normalmente.

Outro teste de hardware é dar o boot pelo live do Ubuntu, se tudo ocorrer normalmente, então é pouco provável que o drive de DVD esteja com problema.

Sugiro confirmar isto antes de prosseguir.

Bom dia.
Ontem o PC ficou impossível e tive de formatar, instalei o Ubuntu 9.04 32bits, mas pelo que li no log do kernel hoje o problema persiste.

Notei que quando o kernel faz menção à "ata3.01" ele tá falando do hd todo e não do dvd-rw, que é descrito como "ata4.01" (log de 6:31:42)

O que significa "doesn't support DPO or FUA" que aparece logo após a indicação do hd? Depois que aparece a mensagem "ata3: soft resetting link" é que tudo começa a travar: a mensagem do ata3.01 fica se repetindo, como se algo não desse certo e reinicia o problema, tornando o pc lento demais e algumas vezes até travando.

Eu preciso, realmente, que algum de vocês me ajude nessa, pois se o problema for o HD eu necessito saber para reclamar com o fabricante enquanto o PC ainda está na garantia.

Como eu não sei anexar arquivos aqui, peço vossa paciência para ler o conteúdo que postarei abaixo.

Bom dia.

Estou escrevendo para informar que este problema foi resolvido pela assistência técnica pois meu PC está ainda na garantia.

Não sei o que foi feito, apenas levei à assistência e recebi o PC funcionando melhor e mais rápido do que quando o comprei.
