mensagem no Synaptic

Tento instalar programa via Synaptic e recebo a seguinte mensagem:

E: Linha mal formada 54 no arquivo de fontes /etc/apt/sources.list (análise de distribuição)
E: A lista de fontes não pôde ser lida.
Configure as opções de repositórios para corrigir o problema.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.

Não sei como proceder para corrigir, conforme solicitado. Estou usando o Ubuntu 9.04
Esta mensagem surgiu logo depois de examinar Sistema> Administração> Canais de software
Não cheguei a instalar nada

Alguem pode me socorrer?

O endereço de um repositório nunca tem formato de qualquercoisa.cgi e muito menos a seguir a referência a um ficheiro.
Exprimente apagar essa linha.
