Estou tentando instalar um programa (NS-2 - Network Simulator)
No final eu recebi a seguinte mensagem:

Please compile your nam separately.

Ns-allinone package has been installed successfully.
Here are the installation places:
tcl8.4.18: /home/mateus/ns-allinone-2.33/{bin,include,lib}
tk8.4.18: /home/mateus/ns-allinone-2.33/{bin,include,lib}
otcl: /home/mateus/ns-allinone-2.33/otcl-1.13
tclcl: /home/mateus/ns-allinone-2.33/tclcl-1.19
ns: /home/mateus/ns-allinone-2.33/ns-2.33/ns
xgraph: /home/mateus/ns-allinone-2.33/xgraph-12.1
gt-itm:   /home/mateus/ns-allinone-2.33/itm, edriver, sgb2alt, sgb2ns, sgb2comns, sgb2hierns

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please put /home/mateus/ns-allinone-2.33/bin:/home/mateus/ns-allinone-2.33/tcl8.4.18/unix:/home/mateus/ns-allinone-2.33/tk8.4.18/unix
into your PATH environment; so that you'll be able to run itm/tclsh/wish/xgraph.

IMPORTANT NOTICES:

(1) You MUST put /home/mateus/ns-allinone-2.33/otcl-1.13, /home/mateus/ns-allinone-2.33/lib,
    into your LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable.
    If it complains about X libraries, add path to your X libraries
    into LD_LIBRARY_PATH.
    If you are using csh, you can set it like:
setenv LD_LIBRARY_PATH <paths>
    If you are using sh, you can set it like:
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=<paths>

(2) You MUST put /home/mateus/ns-allinone-2.33/tcl8.4.18/library into your TCL_LIBRARY environmental
    variable. Otherwise ns/nam will complain during startup.

After these steps, you can now run the ns validation suite with
cd ns-2.33; ./validate

For trouble shooting, please first read ns problems page
http://www.isi.edu/nsnam/ns/ns-problems.html. Also search the ns mailing list archive
for related posts.

Eu tenho que adicionar esses caminhos ao arquivo bash??? Certo? Ou no Profile?

Esse eh o meu bash.bashrc:

# System-wide .bashrc file for interactive bash(1) shells.

# To enable the settings / commands in this file for login shells as well,
# this file has to be sourced in /etc/profile.

# If not running interactively, don't do anything
[ -z "$PS1" ] && return

# check the window size after each command and, if necessary,
# update the values of LINES and COLUMNS.
shopt -s checkwinsize

# set variable identifying the chroot you work in (used in the prompt below)
if [ -z "$debian_chroot" ] && [ -r /etc/debian_chroot ]; then
    debian_chroot=$(cat /etc/debian_chroot)
fi

# set a fancy prompt (non-color, overwrite the one in /etc/profile)
PS1='${debian_chroot:+($debian_chroot)}\u@\h:\w\$ '

# Commented out, don't overwrite xterm -T "title" -n "icontitle" by default.
# If this is an xterm set the title to user@host:dir
#case "$TERM" in
#xterm*|rxvt*)
#    PROMPT_COMMAND='echo -ne "\033]0;${USER}@${HOSTNAME}: ${PWD}\007"'
#    ;;
#*)
#    ;;
#esac

# enable bash completion in interactive shells
#if [ -f /etc/bash_completion ]; then
#    . /etc/bash_completion
#fi

# sudo hint
if [ ! -e $HOME/.sudo_as_admin_successful ]; then
    case " $(groups) " in *\ admin\ *)
    if [ -x /usr/bin/sudo ]; then
cat <<-EOF
To run a command as administrator (user "root"), use "sudo <command>".
See "man sudo_root" for details.

EOF
    fi
    esac
fi

# if the command-not-found package is installed, use it
if [ -x /usr/lib/command-not-found ]; then
function command_not_found_handle {
        # check because c-n-f could've been removed in the meantime
                if [ -x /usr/lib/command-not-found ]; then
   /usr/bin/python /usr/lib/command-not-found -- $1
                   return $?
else
   return 127
fi
}
fi

Esse eh o meu Profile

# /etc/profile: system-wide .profile file for the Bourne shell (sh(1))
# and Bourne compatible shells (bash(1), ksh(1), ash(1), ...).

if [ -d /etc/profile.d ]; then
  for i in /etc/profile.d/*.sh; do
    if [ -r $i ]; then
      . $i
    fi
  done
  unset i
fi

if [ "$PS1" ]; then
  if [ "$BASH" ]; then
    PS1='\u@\h:\w\$ '
    if [ -f /etc/bash.bashrc ]; then
. /etc/bash.bashrc
    fi
  else
    if [ "`id -u`" -eq 0 ]; then
      PS1='# '
    else
      PS1='$ '
    fi
  fi
fi

Talvez seja necessário modificar o bash_profile...
Alguem pode me dizer como colocar esses caminhos corretamente?
Ja tentei varias coisa... ate ja tive de formata e reinstala o ubuntu
