Um forte abraço...Ronelo

Coloque então aqui no tópico todo o seu menu.lst para que possamos dar uma olhada...

carloss

fossem me escutar...

roda 'sudo grub-install hd0'

Citarcarlos@carlos-laptop:~$ sudo grub-install hd0
[sudo] password for ca:
Searching for GRUB installation directory ... found: /boot/grub
Installing GRUB to hd0 as (hd0)...
Installation finished. No error reported.
This is the contents of the device map /boot/grub/device.map.
Check if this is correct or not. If any of the lines is incorrect,
fix it and re-run the script `grub-install'.

(hd0)   /dev/sda

Caro amigo digitei e tive as seguintes respostas:
relpub@ubuntu:~$ sudo grub-install hd0
[sudo] password for relpub:
Searching for GRUB installation directory ... found: /boot/grub
The file /boot/grub/stage1 not read correctly.
relpub@ubuntu:~$
