Reproduzir videos em tela cheia

Bom eu estava com um problema na resolução do vídeo assim como muita gente ele não passava de 600x800 seguindo tutoriais mexendo aqui, ali e baixando drives esse problema foi solucionado, porém outro foi criado, antes de mexer em tudo isso eu conseguia ver vídeos normalmente, porém agora não consigo expandir o vídeoo, fica só um quadradinho em qualquer formato ou resolução do vídeo, ja tentei abrir com o VLC e o reprodutor de filmes padrão, mas sempre só abre um quadradinho.

Roda no terminal o comando lspci e posta o resultado.

Provavelmente o problema esta no vídeo.
