Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy - Estou com problema no Gerenciador de Atualizações, no Synaptic e no apt-get pois estão dando as seguintes mensagens:
W: Falha ao buscar http://br.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/hardy/Release  Unable to find expected entry  web/binary-i386/Packages in Meta-index file (malformed Release file?)

W: Falha ao buscar http://br.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/hardy-updates/Release  Unable to find expected entry  web/binary-i386/Packages in Meta-index file (malformed Release file?)

W: Falha ao buscar http://br.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/hardy-security/Release  Unable to find expected entry  web/binary-i386/Packages in Meta-index file (malformed Release file?)

W: Falha ao buscar http://br.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/hardy-proposed/Release  Unable to find expected entry  web/binary-i386/Packages in Meta-index file (malformed Release file?)

W: Falha ao buscar http://br.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/hardy-backports/Release  Unable to find expected entry  web/binary-i386/Packages in Meta-index file (malformed Release file?)

E: Alguns arquivos de índice falharam para baixar, eles foram ignorados ou os antigos foram usados no lugar.

Não estou conseguindo atualizar a mais de 13 dias, e fico recebendo msg. Agradeço antecipado por qq ajuda.

Mude seus repositórios para o server principal e em seguida dê um update...
Se vai te ajudar isso? Não sei,  provavelmente sim.

Não resolveu a sua sugestão, consegui resolver tirando os repositórios de pré-liberadas.
Mas grato pela força.
