Segui as instruções em https://wiki.ubuntu.com/RestrictedFormats, mas qdo faço 'sudo apt-get install  gstreamer0.8-plugins  gstreamer0.8-plugins-multiverse  gstreamer0.8-ffmpeg', o 'apt-get' reporta:

O 'sudo dpkg -i w32codecs_20050412-0.0_i386.deb' funcionou.

O 'sudo apt-get install mozilla-mplayer' também reportou:

Ao tentar 'sudo apt-get install mplayer-386' também recebo:

O resultado é q consigo ouvir o som de um '.wmv', mas não tenho imagem, seja no 'totem', no 'kaffeine' ou 'vlc'.


Alguma dica?

vc precisa descomentar (tirar a tralha/jogo da velha #) de todos os repositórios

depois dê:

sudo apt-get update

pra atualizar a lista de pacotes

tenta ae

Tem um sources.list la nas dicas... num tópico fixo. Tenta usar ele pra instalar os codecs. Por la tem um tópico de FAQ (perguntas frequentemente respondidas) que ensina como proceder ainda.

Olá!!

Eu segui todas as dicas encontradas aqui no fórum e no www.ubuntu-br.com/dicas e estou com o seguinte problema ao visualizar vídeos:
1- Antes de executar algumas dessas dicas, o totem tocava o som do vídeo mas não aparecia o som.
2- após instalação de diversos pacotes e inclusive do automatix ocorreu o contrário: O vídeo é mostrado porém sem som.
E no mplayer toca o vídeo e o som, porém o som aparece todo cheio de falhas.
Alguém poderia me ajudar com este pequeno problema??
