Configurar Grub e Partição Home

Dois problemas :
Instalei o 7.10 e beleza, está funcionando bem, porém !!

1-ao particionar, coloquei a  partição "home"na mesma "home" de outro s.o(Mandriva 2008).Está funcionando, mais está dando um pouco de conflito no 7.10;

2-Ao reiniciar, no Grub ficou faltando um s.o (Resulinux), não sei se ajuda mais ele foi formatado em "reisersf" e não em ext3. Como faço para configurar o GRUB ?

Se alguém puder ajudar, desde já agradeço.

Coloque aqui o conteúdo dos arquivos /boot/grub/menu.lst que esta funcionando (já que tem mais de uma distro), e /boot/grub/device.map, o resultado do comando sudo fdisk -l, e também do comando blkid (caso o GRUB seja o do Ubuntu ao menos).

Vamos ver como te ajudar. A sim, se possível qual distro esta em qual partição.

Estava esquecendo, o Grub é do Open Suse(última distro instalada)....

Kenedy você terá que copiar parte do arquivo /boot/grub/menu.lst (reproduzido abaixo) e adaptar para o Resulinux.

O que esta em negrito é para alterar, e só que a parte em vermelha acabamos esquecendo de pedir, então tem que ver qual é o kernel que o Resulinux tá usando e mudar.

Campos, tive que reinstalar o ubuntu 7.10, pelo problema na home (que estava em comum com o Mandriva), daí o grub passou a ser comandado pelo ubuntu (antes era do opensuse-melhor diga-se...), daí mudou o menu, veja abaixo que o Resulinux sumiu...e aparece um monte de coisas, como faço para deixar somente o que interessa (windows xp/Ubuntu 7.10/Mandriva/OpenSuse/Resulinux) Grato...

Além do menu.lst precisamos saber exatamente onde qual sistema esta (em que partição).

Poderia colocar aqui o resultado dos comandos:

blkid

Os sistemas abaixo ainda estão nas partições informadas antes?
