Bom dia, pessoas.

O caso é que eu tinha um Linux Mint que de repente parou de se conectar à internet; formatei ele para o Ubuntu e agora ele se mostra sempre no modo avião e não encontro recurso na internet que resolva isso. Não sou novo no Linux mas sou amador, uso como usuário comum, então pode ser algo simples que eu não sei dar conta.

A propósito! A conexão cabeada ele funciona bem, então se for preciso instalar alguma coisa da internet dá bom.

Se a rede parou de funcionar no Mint e continua sem funcionar. Vc pode estar com problemas de hardware.

O Ubuntu está travado no modo avião talvez desde o Linux Mint. Perdão não ter sido claro, mas é meio doido assim mesmo. Ele de uma hora para a outra parou o funcionamento da rede wi-fi no Mint, eu formatei para o Ubuntu e o erro persistiu, mas no Ubuntu informando estar travado no modo avião (o Mint não me informava nada).

Uma pesquisa rápida na internet denunciou que das distros Linux, quando ocorre este erro, algumas não conectam na internet; como se o erro fosse do kernel Linux independente de distribuição.

Eu vi que na maioria dos casos há uma sequência simples de comandos que resolvem este problema, a saber:

$ sudo rfkill list all
$ sudo rfkill unblock wifi

Mas que não lograram êxito no meu caso, ou no caso do Sony Vaio que tenho.

(Sou de humanas, eu sempre faço um biruleibe danado para explicar coisas simples, desculpa. Kkkk)

Entendi. Cara vc tentou o mais óbvio? Ligar o Wifi usando a tecla? Já aconteceu comigo de o Ubuntu não conseguir ativar e só ativar via teclado.

As placas de Wifi de notebooks, tem um comando que as desativam fisicamente, por conta das restrições em aviões, por exemplo.

Então, seu teclado deve ter uma tecla, ou combinação de teclas, que ativam/desativam o Wifi. Normalmente, a tecla Fn + Alguma-Tecla-F.

Se tiver desligada, ela vai ligar. Então, espere alguns segundos e veja se aparece alguma rede.

Obrigado pela ajuda, mas eu já havia tentado, sem êxito e com todas as teclas + Fn.

A rede cabeada ele funciona normalmente, entra em modo avião para não deixar a rede wi-fi funcionar. Pode ser um defeito de hardware?

Mas peço perdão por não ter conseguido entender: isso mesmo que significa é que a placa queimou ou que ela só está bloqueada e pode ser desbloqueada?

Isso significa em 99% dos casos que está desligada por um interruptor físico, isto é, algum botão específico para essa função ou uma tecla ou combinação de teclas, tipicamente FN+F...
Note que não há nenhum padrão, varia de marca para marca e entre modelos das mesma marca. Por isso tem que consultar o seu manual.

Os restantes 1% dos casos é derivado da presença de um módulo que foi instalado por erro. Ocorre em algumas mas não todas as edições Debian/Ubuntu e derivados.

Dito isto pro favor verifique a hipótese mais provável primeiro, a que implica aprender no seu exato modelo como ligar e desligar WiFi/Bluetooth.

Obrigadissimo, CelticWarrior, era isso mesmo! Eu nunca ia imaginar na vida mas na carcaça existe um interruptor para Wi-Fi on ou off que eu devo ter esbarrado sem querer e assim coloquei no desligar, nunca imaginei que ele existisse ali naquele lugar, esta um pouco camuflado para olhos desatentos como os meus. Voltei a chavinha para o modo on e estou aqui alegremente passando essa vergonha. Kkkkk.
