Xubuntu parou de atualizar e não consegue conexão com servidor(s)

Estou sem conseguir atualizar o sistema já faz uns 4 dias . De início pensei que fosse algum problema nos servidores Ubuntu , mas mesmo mudando o servidor para Main ou USA , não consegue conectar e dá uma mensagem dizendo  "Failed to download repository information Check you Internet connection ."  .  Já mudei DNS da conexão e nada . 

ATUALIZANDO : O engraçado é que tem vezes que quando aparece a mensagem de que não dá para atualizar o repositorio e clico no botão OK , logo em seguida aparece uma mensagem com a atualização disponível de algum programa ou security update , e consigo fazer o processo normalmente . Que estranho isso !

Olá marcos90, quero agradecer a forma que você postou o problema!  Quem dera todos fizessem como você! 


Geralmente este problema é causado por um repositório problemático, tudo indica ser um dos seus PPAs! Já que você mesmo já explica que mudou a lista de servidores oficiais do Ubuntu e não resolveu!

Vamos tentar descobrir qual dos PPAs pode estar causando o problema, execute novamente o apt-get update e um apt-get dist-upgrade no terminal, copie e cole aqui as mensagens completas! Geralmente ele indica qual repositórios deu erro!

marcos90, pode até ter voltado a atualizar, mas está longe da normalidade!

Leia você mesmo, tá cheio de erros!

Os repositórios ou PPAs: webupd8team-java, inameiname-stable, blueman-ppa e intellinuxgraphics, estão todos sendo  ignorados por estarem com suas extensões incorretas!

Se não estiver enganado, você vem atualizando o seu Ubuntu e não fazendo uma instalação limpa. Então durante o processo de atualização ele geralmente desabilita os PPAs ou repositórios não oficiais, mudando sua extensão. 

O problema é que ele não aceita as extensões -bak e sim .bak.


Outro problema é o repositório GetDeb está repetido várias vezes na sua lista! E com certeza está configurado errado, para cada versão do Ubuntu existe uma linha diferente para o repositório, está lá nas instruções do site do Getdeb!


Para solucionar estes problemas você deve entrar na configuração dos repositórios , apagar todas essas entradas problemáticas e procurar os respectivos PPAs ou sites de repositórios não oficiais e adicioná-los novamente da maneira correta!

Sabe mexer nas configurações das fontes dos pacotes (repositórios) pelo Software Center ou pelo Synaptic?  Se souber tá fácil! Se não souber, não se preocupe, não é difícil, procure como alterar sua lista de repositório ou fonte de pacotes no Software Center ou no Synpatic no tio Google! Já que eu não sei qual o método que você utiliza aí.

Eu deixei assim mesmo . Porém , ontem apareceu uma mensagem que nunca tinha visto antes .  Dizia algo como , " Seu sistema não atualizou todos os drivers devido a problemas de compatibilidade que pode ser de versões diferentes , etc . Recomenda se atualizar o maior número possível de drivers  que puder"  .  O estranho é que o sistema está funcionando normalmente , sem erros , sem travamentos e muito rápido .
