Ubuntu 21.10 - não atualiza e não faz atualizações via Terminal????

Já procedi como em Fóruns anteriores, mas não obtive sucesso!!!!! Por favor me ajudem.....
Tudo isso aconteceu porque instalei o Ubuntu 16.04!!!!!

É mesmo.
Mas no início ele fala "Tudo isso aconteceu porque instalei o Ubuntu 16.04!!!!!"

A versão 12.10 não tem mais suporte.
