1º pergunta, erro apt-get update "main/binary-armhf/Packages 404 Not Found"

Olá esta é a minha primeira pergunta no forum.

Tudo começou quando tentei instalar o nvidia cuda toolkit 5.5, para ter mais rendimento no blender.
tenho o ubuntu 12.04 lts
nvidia gtx 650

Eu segui o guia de instalação:

quando coloquei este código no terminal:
$ echo "foreign-architecture armhf" >> /etc/dpkg/dpkg.cfg.d/multiarch
$ sudo apt-get update

aparecem muitos erros.

Eu já tentei restaurar a source list e alterar o servidor de atualização para principal

E: Falhou o download de alguns ficheiros de índice. Foram ignorados ou os antigos foram usados em seu lugar.


nota: Eu instalei o cuda toolkit, não a driver que vem junto com o pacote.
Eu tenho instalado a driver atraves deste ppa:ubuntu-x-swat/x-update

Se exibir apenas:
foreign-architecture armhf

Obrigado jeflui, funcionou! , apos fazer apt get update já não vejo mais erros, no entanto apareceu no canto superior na minha janela um sinal proibido, cliquei e diz para executar o gestor de pacotes e abri o synaptic, tenho um ficheiro quebrado, "ia32-libs" será que devo reinstalar ou remover, visto que parece ser 32 bits e eu uso um um sistema 64 bits.

Entretanto eu reinstalei o ia32-libs e não deu mais problema
