Problemas de dependencias do gcc do meu ubuntu 12.10! como resolvo isso?

(Já tentei atualizar, atualiza mas não resolve o problema!)

qual a sua sources list? poste o resultado desse comando:

e  qual é a versão do virtualbox que você está tentando instalar? é a que vem pela ppa ou a que está nos repositórios oficiais?

Amigo, eu sempre instalo via pacote .deb que pode ser obtido do site oficial..! E é totalmente estável..!

Vou te dar uma ajuda..!

Se tiver instalado o Virtual Box ai, remova-o através do apt-get purge

Baixe daqui..!

I = 32 Bits

II = 64 Bits

Instale o pacote..!

Após instalar, baixe isso, depois de instalar, no próprio menu do Virtual Box, Verifique e instale as Atualizações do Virtual Box..!

Após isso, entre em terminal e execute o seguinte comando ==> sudo /etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup

E veja se consegue iniciar o Virtual Box..!
