Meu Unbunto não esta atualizando esta dando erro

Boa noite!

Bom estou tentando atualizar ele faz uns dias e não conciso, fica dando erros, já tentei ir colocar para não buscar atualizações desta pagina mas o erro não some, sou usuário principiante de Ubuntu, por favor me explique de uma forma que um usuário como eu possa resolver, me mostre o caminho e me diga como fazer.  Fico grato

oi,o repositório br está com problemas mesmo,mude para o principal:
vá em central de programas do ubuntu, editar, canais de software e na aba baixar de,selecione servidor principal.feche a central de programas,entre no termina e execute o comando:

1- Tem repositórios de outras versões do ubuntu (quantal, natty) no mesmo sources.list

2- A versão 10.10 (maverick) já saiu do tempo de suporte.

Sugestão minha: atualize para uma versão mais nova, p. ex. a 12.04 LTS.

   Bom o meu ubuntu e versão 12.10 e estava fazendo atualizações normal até esta quarta feira passada 26/12, onde já tentei colocar para atualizar do servidor principal e nada.

   Caso alguém tenha uma solução, por favor me diga tipo um passo a passo sou usuário aprendiz de aprendiz de ubuntu.

A solução já foi dada, olha aí em cima.

Se vc está começando agora com o Ubuntu, então reinstale ele, acho que será mais fácil para vc (e me parece que vc já andou mexendo em um monte de configuração). Instale a versão 12.04 do Ubuntu, tem maior tempo de suporte e está menos bugado que a 12.10.

E não faça upgrade de um Ubuntu para outro, se quiser subir versão instale tudo do zero.

Obs: não é Unbunto, é Ubuntu.
