[resolvido] erro no pacote update-manager

Boas é o meu 1º post aqui no forum e ainda sou um nob no ubuntu,tenho o seguinte problema,aparece-me este erro nas atualizações:

Impossível inicializar a informação do pacote

Ocorreu um problema impossível de resolver ao inicializar a informação do pacote.

Por favor reporte este erro no pacote 'update-manager' e inclua a seguinte mensagem de erro:

'E:Encountered a section with no Package: header, E:Problem with MergeList /var/lib/apt/lists/pt.archive.ubuntu.com_ubuntu_dists_natty_universe_binary-i386_Packages, E:As listas de pacotes ou o ficheiro de status não pôde ser analisado ou aberto.'

Ola tente esse comando, e um comando so, copie e cole no terminal veja se ajuda;

sudo rm /var/lib/apt/lists/* ; sudo rm /var/lib/apt/lists/partial/* ; sudo apt-get clean ; sudo apt-get -f install ; sudo apt-get update

Se ainda nao funcionar e continuar com o erro faça;

gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

Se abrira uma janela, copie todo o conteudo e cole aqui para os companheiros analizarem.

Olá pessoal. Estou com o mesmo problema do amiga ai em cima mas o ultimo comando não funcionou.

e poste o resultado.
