Itautec w7010 - rolagem no touchpad

Caros, tenho aqui um Itautec Infoway w7010, com Ubuntu Netbook Remix 10.4 instalado e atualizado quase que diariamente. Praticamente tudo funciona belezinha, menos a rolagem no touchpad.
Pelo que vi, o sistema nao reconheceu o touchpad como um synaptics, ou o danado nem é syanptics... aqui a saida do lspci

Se eu tento rodar o syndaemon, ganho uma msg de erro dizendo que nenhum dispositivo synaptics foi encontrado.

Alguém já teve um problema similar? Estou ficando doido ou o touchpad não é synaptics mesmo?

Cara tenho o mesmo problema, o touchpad do meu noote não rola, tenho um Intelbras i37, reconheceu tudo, som, camera, touchpad funciona menos a rolagem ja habilitei nas configurações de sistema com mostra na imagens mas não funciona, como sou usuário novo não conheço muito de drivers etc se alguem mais puder ajudar valew.
