como eu resolvo isso no ubuntu 10.04, pq agora ele não instala mais nada... obrigado...

Como está escrito, abra o arquivo texto /etc/apt/sources.list que tem uma linha mal formada, ou seja, fora do padrão aceito.

Se você preferir que alguém analise o conteúdo é só copiar e colar aqui.

Você como usuário "normal" não pode editar esse arquivo, use o sudo;
Para mostrar aqui você pode fazer, por exemplo, gedit /etc/apt/sources.list (no terminal);

Essas são as linhas erradas. Adicione uma cerquilha na frente delas e atualize. Exemplo:

sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list;
Vá na linha 51 (a mensagem de erro foi bem clara);
Coloque a cerquilha:
    #deb http://br.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid-security
    #deb http://br.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid-updates
    #deb-src http://br.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid-security

Feche (não esqueça de salvar);
Atualize a lista (sudo apt-get update);

A cerquilha serve para transformar as linhas em comentários (linhas que vão ser ignoradas pelo apt).
Se funcionar você pode apagar as linhas comentadas sem risco algum.
