[Resolvido] Netbook Remix no Proview 81001

Olá a todos,

Gostaria de saber se há algum caso de sucesso na instalação do Ubuntu Netbook Remix no mini notebook Proview 81001. Estou buscando esta informação porque ele veio com o Ubuntu 8.04 e ficava muito lento com a configuração que ele dispõe. Daí, tentei atualizá-lo para o Xubuntu 9.04 mas não reconheu o monitor que é 1024x600, mesmo editando o Xorg.conf que copiei dele mesmo antes da atualização.
Será que alguém pode dar uma luz?

Instalei no meu Acer One o Remix e funcionou tudo, inclusive a resolução 1024x600, muito rápido tudo.
Qual é o chip de video que este netbook usa? ( lspci )
Poderia passar o xorg.conf ?

Veja se não ajuda dar:

Ja tentou renomear o xorg.conf  atual para bak e colar o xorg.conf original no xubuntu?

Tenho um eeepc com o netbook remix e roda que é uma beleza.

nao estou conseguindo, ja testei o usb em outros netbooks e funcionaram certo,
só nele que nao estou conseguindo.

Consegui intalar o netbook remix 9.10 no proview-81001.
Mas a resoluçao está errada e o consumo de memoria está muito alto,
estou procurando soluçoes ainda.

Agora só ficou uma dúvida.
Por que este xorg.conf só funciona com o Karmic e não com o Lucid.
No caso do Lucid, até que ajusta a resolução em 1024x600 mas em compensação, a tela fica cheia de resíduos e ficando cada vez mais lento os movimentos.

TBM estou tentando desolver esse problema num Netbook Proview aqui !

Com a edição desse xorg, a tela de Login ficou centralizada e finalmente apareceu a barra inferior, podem quando loga no Ubuntu esta tudo como antes, fora de configuração e sem a parte inferior da tela.Alias ficou pior pq antes a barra superior aparecia normal, com esse xorg ela fica cheia de riscos como disse o amigo ai em cima.

Alguem teria a solucao?

Pessoal finalmente consegui resolver definitivamente esse problema de resolução da tela do netbook Proview 81001. Abaixo estou publicando o arquivo x.org.conf com as devidas alterações feitas na solução dada pelo site (http://ubuntucomhardware.wordpress.com/2010/05/22/resolvidoproblema-com-video-no-geode-lx-em-notebook-proview-pc-81001-usando-tela-de-1024x600/). Depois que eu configurei o xorg.conf, todos os ícones sumiram, então comentei a linha #Option "MigrationHeuristic" "greedy". Eu instalei o Ubuntu 10.04.
