Bom dia,


Estou com um problema no meu servidor de FTP. Ao tentar enviar arquivos meus clientes são desconectados automaticamente do servidor, as vezes até mesmo com dificuldades para logar com o seguinte erro no FileZilla: 


Status:        Connection attempt failed with "ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server".
Error:          Could not connect to server


Não sei se isso tem alguma relação, ou pode ajudar, quando eu tento conectar via RDC para gerencia meu servidor, ele me retorna um erro para verificar a conexão com a internet do meu computador e a do servidor o qual estou tentando conectar. Após sucessivas tentativas de reconectar ao servidor ele loga normal, e após um tempo cai a conexão com o RDC também.

ROOT PRIVS: unable to seteuid(): Operation not permitted

Teu problema me parece ser a combinação de tentar entrar em modo chroot, com o fato de não estar rodando como super-usuário antes.
Pesquise antes de perguntar, sua dúvida pode já ter sido respondida.
Não respondo dúvidas por MP, coloque sua dúvida no fórum onde ela pode ser pesquisada pelos seus colegas!

Obrigado pela sua reposta. Será que você poderia me esclarecer um pouco melhor, ou como poderia resolver. Não sou expert na área, mas tenho um bom conehcimento e uma noção boa.

Então... vc configurou seu proftpd para rodar em modo "Chroot Jail", ou seja, ele só consegue ver um pedaço da sua árvore de diretórios. Só que pra que esse modo de trabalho seja possível, o proftpd tem que estar rodando como super-usuário, e não com o usuário comum (ftp ou proftp, ou coisa parecida). Tem que ver no manual de configuração dele quais são as opções que devem ser ativadas pra que isso funcione.

Entendi, estou em viagem agora, mas assim que possível vou pegar o man do proftpd e dar uma olhada ver se resolvo isso. Se nao conseguir volto aqui para solicitar alguma ajudinha que apareça. De toda forma volto para postar a solução caso alguém precise. Obrigado pela ajuda zekkerj
