Não é possivel acessar sites como: hotmail(outlook), yahoo, facebook

Tentando a uma semana acessar sites como hotmail, yahoo, hotmail e tendo sérias dificuldades em acessar , na  maioria das vezes os sites até carregam , o problema começa depois que tento autenticar , dificilmente carrega e quando carrega não consigo utilizar o site , seus recursos/funcionalidades ficam como bloqueadas !!!

Detalhes do problema:
1- Consigo acessar email como Gmail, e outros sites em geral
2- meu provedor é velox e de uns dias pra cá percebi que se digito qualquer coisa errada na barra de endereços do navegador vai para um dominio como : dnserros.com.br, que eu julgo ser da concessionária de conexão.
3- tenho dualboot com o windows seven e nesse sistema os acessos estão funcionando


O que já tentei:
1- pesquisar no google
2- pesquiar outros tópicos
3-usar uma ferramenta chamada namebench para acha o melhor dns
4- trocar o dns do meu roteador e do meu modem nos menus setups dos referidos dispositivos
5- Atualizar a minha versão do sistema pra mais recente : 14.04 lts (não adiantou).

Dê mais detalhes sobre sua conexão. Qual o provedor, se usa roteador, se há algum firewall ou filtro ativo, etc.

Isso está cheirando problema com o servidor DNS.

Faça um teste:

Abra o Terminal e digite: sudo gedit /etc/resolv.conf

Você verá um texto mais ou menos assim:

Salve o texto e faça um teste abrindo os sites que você não conseguia. Se funcionar poste aqui que eu ensinarei a reparar o problema!

Olá hickot ...Não funcionou esse mudança que você sugeriu....a net aqui hoje está péssima e hoje o problema ocorreu por algumas vezes com um site que até entao não havia tido problema. ...Depois voltou ao normal esse site  (www.Gmail.com )

Ok,

Faça um teste então, altere a taxa de MTU para 1400 de sua conexão Wireless(vi que é a sua conexão costumeira)... Eu tive alguns amigos que estavam com um problema um pouco parecido e resolveu alterando essa taxa.

Você tem alguma idéia porque era essa taxa maledita que afetava esses sites ??

Se vc usa conexão ADSL com PPPoE, o cabeçalho PPP "gasta" 8 bytes adicionais, o que faz com que o MTU caia de 1500 para 1492 bytes.
Se usa conexão VPN, os cabeçalhos da VPN podem gastar entre 20 e 40 bytes, sendo comum que o MTU caia para 1460 bytes.
O valor de 1400 é uma estimativa "generosa" que acomoda esses valores.

O programa "tracepath" pode ser usado para determinar o valor ideal de MTU para sua conexão. Ex:

tracepath -n -l 1500 www.hotmail.com # OBS: o segundo parâmetro é um "L" minúsculo.
