Ola, galera!
Bom sou novo no linux, tenho pelo menos uma semana. E estou querendo mudar de vez para ele. Mas não estou conseguindo instalar o receptor digital usb PixelView PlayTV SBTV - Full Seg.
Já tentei fazer o tutorial deste site: http://dougsland.livejournal.com/103169.html, e não deu certo.
Quando chega nesta parte
- Instalando firmware

wget http://www.wi-bw.tfh-wildau.de/~pboettch/home/files/dvb-usb-dib0700-1.20.fw
cp dvb-usb-dib0700-1.20.fw /lib/firmware

Não dar certo. Mostra como se o link não fosse mais válido.

Vá em drivers adicionais e veja se existe alguma coisa sobre ela ali.

Se tiver, instale.

Depois instale em terminal

Remova o pen da usb

Digite no terminal

Plugue o pen na usb e ainda com o terminal aberto digite o comando novamente

Poste aqui as ultimas 30 linhas

Da outra vez que postou o resultado do dmesg, sua identificação de redes atrapalhou e eu não pude ver tudo

Pelo que indica o dmesg seu pen sdbtv está funcional.

Para pegar os canais você deveria refazer o scan, com a antena bem posicionada ou com antena externa (não sei onde você está nem se tem canais em hdtv aí em seu local)

Pelo que já postou anteriormente nenhum canal foi detectado, então refaça com a antena em outro ponto.

Ola Tota, estou em Fortaleza/CE, e aqui em casa com a antena externa pega os canais hdtv, mas no windows 7. Só que atualmente no proprio windows, os canais estão que falhando. Deve ser mesmo o problema na antena externa. Vou providenciar outra com maior alcance.

Meu caro, muito obrigado pela paciência e ajuda.

Assim que resolver o lance da antena, posto aqui o resultado.

Demorei mais voltei. Bom, Tota, realmente o problema estava sendo a antena. Comprei uma externa.

Seguir este tutorial abaixo descriminado, o qual encontrei no site: http://www.vivaolinux.com.br/dica/Placa-de-TV-Digital-no-Ubuntu-1204

Fiz tudo do tutorial e conseguir encontrar os canais, no meu caso todos que tem na minha cidade. (1 seg e Full seg).


Instalação

Instalando driver e aplicativos para TV digital no Ubuntu 12.04.

1. Execute os comandos no seu terminal:

# git clone git://linuxtv.org/media_build.git
# cd media_build/
# ./build
# make install

Obs.: Os passos acima foram como usuário root.

2. Instalando firmware:

Não precisa baixar o firmware atualizado, ele já é instalado quando plugamos o periférico na saída USB. Só temos que ativá-lo clicando em:

Aplicativos > Ferramentas do sistema > Configuração do sistema > Drivers adicionais > Firmware para cartões USB > Ativar

A luz ficará verde, se tudo estiver funcionando perfeitamente.

3. Baixando ferramentas:

1. Crie o arquivo ch_freq.conf, que irá conter a frequência dos canais.

2. Faça um scan para verificar quais canais estão disponíveis em sua área:

$ scan ch_freq.conf > channels.conf

Obs.: O arquivo channels.conf irá armazenar os canais encontrados.

Instalando/Configurando o player VLC
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install vlc vlc-plugin-pulse mozilla-plugin-vlc libavcodec-extra-52

Depois de instalado, e só abrir o VLC no menu:

Aplicativos > Multimídia > Reprodutor de mídias VLC

Basta clicar em: Mídia > Abrir arquivo

Na tela que se abrir, escolher o arquivo: channels.conf

Ele abre geralmente no primeiro canal da lista, senão, é só clicar no arquivo "channels.conf" com o botão direito do mouse, e escolher: Reproduzir
